Equipped with MAN B&W diesel engines (about 23.5 MW). It was designed on the premise that technology from subsequent ships using liquid hydrogen and fuel cells, Viking Libra and Viking Astrea, could be retrofitted in the future, while Viking Mira itself currently operates on conventional fuel. - • The Nordic Spa — A spa recreating Nordic bathing culture, with a sauna, steam room, snow grotto with swirling snow, cold-water plunge pool, and heated loungers. Basic areas are available at no additional charge; massages, facials, and other treatments are paid services.
- • Main Pool with Retractable Roof — A Deck 7 pool that can be used both indoors and outdoors. The roof opens and closes according to the weather, so it can be used even on routes in cold regions. A pool grill and a bar are next to it.
- • Infinity Pool — An infinity pool extending out from the stern, with an open design that lets swimmers look out over the wake. Two outdoor jacuzzis are adjacent. The ship has two pools in total.

Drinking alcohol you have brought is unrestricted in your cabin, and in practice no corkage fee is charged even when drinking it in shared areas such as restaurants.

Depending on the sea area, satellite-based maritime roaming may connect, but it is not covered by regular international roaming plans and carries a risk of large bills.
