PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy

This page explains how Cruise Atlas handles user information and what information is sent to external providers when a page is opened.

Effective: October 6, 2026 · Last revised: October 9, 2026

1.Operator and contact

Operator
Invest AI Tech
Contact
info@invest-aitech.com

Requests to correct or remove published content and questions about this policy are accepted at the email address above. Errors in published content can also be reported through the corrections and update report page.

The operator is a sole proprietor, and the name above is a trade name.

2.Information this site collects

This site has no member registration and no fields on its pages for entering your name or email address. Reports of errors in published content are accepted by email (see 5. Corrections and update reports).

Information sent in an inquiry email, such as your email address, name, and message, is used only to answer the inquiry and correct or remove published content. We do not provide it to third parties except where required by law.

Favorites (stored only on this device)

The IDs of ships, routes, and ports added to Favorites are stored only in your browser's local storage under the key ca.favorites.v1. They are not sent to this site's server or to external providers. We do not store personal information there.

To remove them, use “Clear all” on the Favorites page or delete this site's data in your browser settings. You can export and import the list on the Favorites page when moving it to another device; the file contains only a list of IDs.

In addition, when a page is opened, information is sent from your device to external providers for analytics and image display (see 3. Analytics and 4. External transmissions).

3.Analytics (Google Analytics)

This site uses Google LLC's analytics tool, Google Analytics 4, to understand which pages are viewed and how often and to improve the site. The English pages (/en) currently do not load Google Analytics.

Google Analytics distinguishes visits using cookies (_ga and _ga_<measurement ID>; Google generally sets their expiration to two years, although browsers may use a shorter period). See Google: How cookies are used on websites (opens in a new tab). The information sent is described in 4. External transmissions.

The information sent includes the URL of the page viewed. Map filters and terms entered in search fields are included in the URL and are sent as well. Do not enter personal information such as your name or email address in a search field.

For how Google uses data, see Google's use of information collected from sites or apps that use Google services (opens in a new tab).

How to stop measurement

Deleting cookies in your browser removes stored identifiers such as _ga. Deleting them alone does not stop measurement; when you next open this site, measurement resumes with a new identifier. How disabled cookies are handled depends on your browser and Google's specifications. Use the add-on above if you want to stop measurement itself.

Advertising features

The Google Analytics tag on this site is configured not to use advertising features, such as Google Signals and ad personalization, or advertising cookies.

Visitors from the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland

We do not load Google Analytics when the device time zone indicates that you may be in the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, or when your region cannot be estimated, such as when the time zone is UTC.

A time zone is a device setting and does not guarantee your actual location. Travel, VPN use, or changed settings may make the estimate inaccurate. This is an auxiliary estimate and does not replace obtaining prior consent where required by applicable law.

4.External transmissions

When a page is opened, information is sent from your device to the providers below for display and analytics. In light of the external-transmission rules in Article 27-12 of Japan's Telecommunications Business Act, we identify the information sent, recipients, and purposes.

5.Corrections and update reports

This section explains how we handle information submitted through the corrections and update report page (by form or email) about errors or outdated information.

Information accepted

You may send the URL of the relevant page, what is wrong, the correct information, a supporting URL (optional), and contact information (optional email address). Do not include your name, address, telephone number, reservation number, or similar information. If you do, tell us by email and we will delete it.

For an email report, we receive the sender's email address, subject, and message.

Purposes

  • To verify errors or outdated information and decide whether to correct it.
  • To contact the reporter when contact is needed for verification, if contact information was provided.
  • To understand common types of reports and improve the site, without using them in a form that identifies an individual.

We do not use the information for other purposes.

Retention and deletion

Reports and contact information are kept so that only the operator can access them until verification is complete.

After verification, we delete them no later than 6 months after receipt from form responses, exported CSV files, email, and copies made for verification.

We may retain a non-identifying record of when and what was corrected as an update record.

Third-party disclosure and external services

Except where required by law, we do not provide report content or contact information to third parties. We use the following external services to receive and retain reports:

  • An email service for sending and receiving email

Reports are currently accepted by email only. We will announce it on this page if we begin using a form.

Requests for disclosure, correction, deletion, or similar action

The person who submitted a report may request disclosure, correction, deletion, or suspension of use of their own report. Send the following information to the email address above:

  1. The type of request.
  2. Information identifying the date and content of the report, such as the relevant page URL.
  3. Information to verify that you are the person concerned; if contact information was included in the report, send the request from that address.

We do not ask for an ID document for identity verification and charge no fee. After checking the details, we respond without delay as required by law.

We may be unable to comply in whole or in part where permitted by law, such as when doing so may harm another person's rights. In that case, we will endeavor to explain the reason.

A report without contact information may not be verifiable as yours, and we may be unable to respond.

Complaints and questions

Complaints and questions about handling reports are also accepted at the email address above.

The operator is Invest AI Tech (a trade name of a sole proprietorship). The address will be provided without delay upon request.

Security

Reports are accessible only to the operator. Copies made for verification are not placed in public locations or shared clouds and are deleted when no longer needed.

Contact information is not read except when needed to contact you for verification.

6.Changes to this policy

We may change this policy to reflect changes in law or the services. We will announce changes on this page and show the revision date.

This policy is written in Japanese, and this English version is provided for reference. If the two differ, the Japanese version prevails.

For conditions of use, see the Terms of Use. For how data is collected, see About this site.
