Queen Victoria
Vista class · refurbished 2026 · Other, Southeast Asia, Mediterranean
A mid-sized Vista-class ship launched in 2007 that strongly preserves the classic British ocean-liner style, with private theater boxes and the glass-roofed Winter Garden. With about 2,000 guests, it is relatively small within the fleet and offers a calm atmosphere suited to long voyages. It will enter dry dock at the Damen shipyard in Rotterdam from October 17 to November 5, 2026, for updates to the Grand Lobby, Queens Room, and Grill Suite areas, plus a new Wellness Cafe. After refurbishment, it will lead a 109-night World Voyage departing Southampton on January 10, 2027, alongside shorter itineraries in the Mediterranean, Norway, and the Canary Islands.

- A Vista-class ship (Cunard specification) that entered service in 2007 and was refurbished in 2023. While sharing its basic design with its sister ship Queen Elizabeth, it has its own interior differences, such as Queen Victoria's unique Winter Garden and the Hemispheres nightclub, which was renamed to match the name used on Queen Elizabeth. The interiors blend Art Deco with a classic British style, and the spiral staircase of the Queens Room and the 3-level Royal Court Theatre create a sense of formality. On Gala Evenings (formerly formal nights), the basic dress code is a tuxedo/dark suit for men and an evening dress for women, and the tiered hospitality by cabin grade known as White Star Service is a feature. Compared with casual ships, the pace is more relaxed, and the traditional style of 'enjoying the voyage itself,' with ballroom dancing, the library, afternoon tea, croquet and more, remains strong.
- Guests are mainly from the United Kingdom and the United States, with an average age around 60, considerably higher than the cruise industry average. There are many repeat guests among regular Cunard fans who value dress codes and manners, and couples and seniors make up a larger share than families.
Uses diesel-electric propulsion with four 16-cylinder and two 12-cylinder diesel engines, producing about 63.4 MW in total. Propulsion uses two ABB Azipods and offers good fuel economy, maneuverability, and quietness. Support for alternative fuels such as LNG could not be confirmed, and it is not a dual-fuel design like Queen Anne, which is newer than its sister ships.
