Navigator of the Seas
Voyager class · refurbished 2019 · Southeast Asia
A Voyager-class ship that entered service in 2002, it received a major refurbishment in 2019, adding waterslides and new restaurants to bring its offerings closer to the current generation. From October 2026 to February 2027, it will make Singapore its homeport for the first time for Royal Caribbean International, operating 3- to 12-night Southeast Asia and East Asia itineraries. Options range from 3- to 5-night short cruises to Penang, Langkawi, and Phuket, to 10-night cruises including Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Bangkok, and up to 11- to 12-night itineraries linking Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Taipei. It is not the newest ship, but Singapore departures offer strong practicality thanks to convenient access from Japan.

Boarding, atmosphere, and links
- Japan departures: No
- Home ports: Los Angeles / San Pedro (US, California coast)
- Departure ports: Los Angeles (San Pedro)
- All ages
- A midsize ship extensively refurbished in 2019 at a cost of about USD 115 million under Royal Amplified. With waterslides, laser tag, and other playful features, it has a casual atmosphere suited to lively short itineraries. Shorter circulation routes and less crowding than on the newest ships are additional advantages.
- Primarily 3- to 7-night sailings from Los Angeles. Younger travelers and groups are common on short weekend cruises, while families and seniors are common on 7-night Mexican Riviera cruises. Passengers are mostly North American residents, and guidance for Japanese travelers is limited.
Built in Finland in 2002, the ship uses conventional fuel rather than LNG. Equipment was updated during refits in 2014 and 2019, but no major publicly documented decarbonization retrofit could be confirmed.
Ship character
- • Asia cruises accessible from Japan
- • 3- to 5-night trial cruises
- • Budget-conscious family travel
- • Newest facilities seekers
- • Travelers seeking mega-ship scale
