Disney Magic
Magic class · refurbished 2023 · Alaska
Disney's first-generation cruise ship, entering service in 1998. At around 80,000 tons, this mid-sized ship is easier to navigate, with shorter walking distances and more manageable interiors than larger ships. In summer 2026, she will sail Alaska itineraries from Vancouver alongside Disney Wonder—the first time Disney has deployed two ships in Alaska at once—calling at Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Icy Strait Point. Many itineraries include cruising in Glacier Bay. From autumn onward, she will shift to Baja California and the Mexican Riviera from San Diego, then the Western Caribbean from Galveston. Some Galveston itineraries feature Marvel Day at Sea. While her facilities are less extensive than those on the newest ships, lounges and other areas were updated during her 2023 dry dock.

- Departure ports: Miami, Vancouver, San Diego, Galveston
- All ages
- A balanced atmosphere combining the calm appearance of Disney's oldest midsize classic ship, launched in 1998, with modern facilities added during refits, including AquaDunk.
- Primarily families with young children, but also supported by repeat Disney Cruise families who prefer a midsize ship with less crowding than a large newbuild.
Legacy ships Disney Magic and Disney Wonder use some renewable HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil) fuel made from used cooking oil and animal fats to reduce emissions. When calling at Vancouver, they can connect to shore power and stop their engines, bringing emissions while berthed close to zero using electricity generated from hydropower and wind power at the port.
