Carnival Cruise Line is Carnival Corporation’s largest casual brand, headquartered in Miami, United States. It operates numerous short to approximately week-long cruises from homeports across North America, including Florida, Texas, California, and New York, emphasizing affordability and ease. Onboard features include waterslides, roller-coaster-style attractions, complimentary buffets and burger venues, and numerous bars, casinos, and shows, creating a lively, action-packed atmosphere. In recent years, the line has expanded around four LNG-fueled Excel (XL) class ships, while adding Italian-style entertainment aboard Venezia and Firenze, transferred from Costa, and developing its own exclusive port of call, Celebration Key, in the Bahamas. It is also bringing more port-of-call experiences in-house. Japanese-language support is generally unavailable, so onboard life is based on using English, an important consideration for Japanese travelers.
