Formerly Costa Luminosa, this mid-size ship transferred to Carnival Cruise Line in 2022 and continues to operate with the same hull. The official site lists a 14-day Southeast Asia itinerary departing Tokyo on October 9, 2026. It is less flashy than an Excel-class ship, but its balconies offer a calm atmosphere suited to glacier and fjord viewing.

- A mid-sized casual ship based on former Costa Luminosa, launched in 2009. Its Italian-style marble and Murano glass interiors are combined with Carnival facilities added during the transfer dry dock, including Fahrenheit 555, RedFrog Rum Bar, and WaterWorks. More subdued in scale than newer large ships, it operates year-round across the contrasting climates of Australia and Alaska.
- Mainly operates 3- to 9-night Australia and South Pacific cruises from Brisbane, and 7- to 10-night Alaska cruises from Seattle during summer. Passengers are mainly Australian and American, with families and veteran Carnival repeaters represented.
Carnival Luminosa is not an LNG-powered ship. Like other Carnival ships, it uses low-sulfur fuel and exhaust-gas cleaning systems (scrubbers), and its environmental measures remain at the standard level.
