MSC World America
World Class · Caribbean & Bahamas
Launched in 2025 as the second World-class ship, MSC World America is a sister ship designed with the North American market in mind. It operates year-round from Miami, with standard 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries including Ocean Cay in the Bahamas. Onboard attractions include bumper cars, waterslides, and an outdoor suspension-bridge-style feature, creating long stay times for families. The forward Yacht Club is a separate area with its own pool and restaurant. Japanese-language support is generally unavailable, so the ship is aimed at travelers comfortable with English-language cruises.

- Home ports: Miami (PortMiami, Florida, USA)
- Departure ports: Miami
- All ages
- As a flagship for the North American market, it has a more casual, American entertainment focus than Mediterranean-based MSC World Europa. Its specialty venues, including a sports bar, British-style pub, and Eataly, have been reconfigured for North America. Families and multigenerational groups are the main audience.
- Mainly attracts guests departing from North America, especially the United States and Canada. Because it sails from Miami, the proportion of Latin American guests is also high.
Like sister ship Europa, it uses dual-fuel propulsion fueled by LNG (liquefied natural gas), significantly reducing air pollutants. It has not been confirmed whether the world's first solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) demonstration unit installed on Europa is also installed on America.
Ship character
- • Standard 7-night Caribbean cruises
- • Families taking their first cruise
- • Travelers pairing Miami with flights
- • Travelers needing Japanese support
- • Travelers seeking to avoid crowds
