The first ship of the Musica class, in service since 2006, at about 92,400 GT and 294 m long with 1,275 staterooms and 987 crew. The line gives a maximum of 3,223 passengers, while double occupancy is put at about 2,550. The central foyer has a three-tier waterfall and a transparent piano on a glass floor. The line announces a renewed Aurea Spa, an updated gym and the new Butcher's Cut and Kaito Sushi Bar. A 63-stateroom MSC Yacht Club is scheduled to open in November 2026.

Bringing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on board is not allowed in principle. Alcohol purchased at ports of call is held at boarding and returned on disembarkation, which is strict even compared with other lines.

Mobile phone calls, SMS and data can also be used at sea, but maritime roaming charges tend to be expensive, and using a Wi-Fi package is recommended.
