Disney Wonder

Magic class · refurbished 2016 · Mexican Riviera & West Coast

Launched in 1999 as the second Magic-class ship, Disney Wonder received a stern sponsorship addition and renovations to staterooms, lounges, and the spa during its 2016 dry dock. In recent years, it has focused on the U.S. West Coast, operating 7-night Alaska cruises from Vancouver in summer and 3- to 7-night Baja and Mexican Riviera cruises from San Diego from autumn through spring. It calls at established Mexican ports such as Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta. These shorter, more affordable itineraries are popular with families trying a Disney ship for the first time. Because the ship is smaller, its water-park-style facilities are less extensive than those on Wish-class ships, but its lower passenger count means less congestion at the kids' clubs and pools.
