A small port town on the Kenai Peninsula in southern Alaska and one of the main gateways for Alaska cruises. It is the gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park, where glaciers, whales, and seabirds can be seen up close from the water. It is also the starting point for rail journeys and scenic drives to Anchorage.
